Honeypot Effect |
|
Certainly South Australia has been exporting some cannabis to New South Wales. But so has Queensland and Victoria. The answer to the honeypot problem in Australia is a uniform Federal approach. Being an island we will not have the problems Amsterdam has had in attracting Europes "druggies". Unlike heroin, policing of the import of cannabis has been very effective, and we believe that virtually all Australian cannabis is grown within our shores. People wont move interstate just to buy or grow pot! Its available everywhere anyway. Changes in cannabis penalties in ACT and South Australia has seen no influx of pot smokers into those areas. |
