Goals for 1996
POLICY AND MANAGEMENT:
- Focus on academic excellence
- Promote parent participation
- Publicise school programs and achievements to improve school image
- Lobby for the upgrading of the bike track and the removal of the sewage treatment works.
CURRICULUM:
- Focus on literacy across the curriculum
Accelerate the promotion of vocational education
- Promote learning skills and the desire to learn
- Promote and encourage implementation of technology based programs
- Continue to promote extra curricular program.
WELFARE:
- Implement programs to further improve school spirit, morale and pride in the school
- Support gender equity issues
- Develop programs to support student/staff fitness and health
- Encourage staff/student involvement in whole school activities
- Promote and implement a safe and happy school.
RESOURCES:
- Greater community support for fees and financing
- Continue to develop the physical aspect of the school
- Strive for the Performing Arts project
- Continue to expand and promote library resources..
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
Promote the training and development of staff to enhance morale and quality performance
- Provide for the consolidation of curriculum changes
- Develop strategies for cross faculty experiences.
- Introduce OASIS timetable.
