Goals for 1996

POLICY AND MANAGEMENT:

Focus on academic excellence

Promote parent participation

Publicise school programs and achievements to improve school image

Lobby for the upgrading of the bike track and the removal of the sewage treatment works.

CURRICULUM:

Focus on literacy across the curriculum

Accelerate the promotion of vocational education

Promote learning skills and the desire to learn

Promote and encourage implementation of technology based programs

Continue to promote extra curricular program.

WELFARE:

Implement programs to further improve school spirit, morale and pride in the school

Support gender equity issues

Develop programs to support student/staff fitness and health

Encourage staff/student involvement in whole school activities

Promote and implement a safe and happy school.

RESOURCES:

Greater community support for fees and financing

Continue to develop the physical aspect of the school

Strive for the Performing Arts project

Continue to expand and promote library resources..

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

Promote the training and development of staff to enhance morale and quality performance

Provide for the consolidation of curriculum changes

Develop strategies for cross faculty experiences.

Introduce OASIS timetable.
