The Bush Theatre and Mulgum Cafe can be found within the
Bush Factory Complex. We have created a unique and relaxed
atmosphere in what once was an old Butter Factory, built in
1932, one of the 20 Butter Factories in the
Northern Rivers  District.

Since the 1973 Aquarius Arts Festival
it has been a Rock and Roll venue, and
a Live Theatre performing Arts Centre
up until 1987, when it started operating
as a 35mm Cinema providing the local
community with a wide variety of top
qauality movies.

Enjoy a healthy meal or snack (predominantly  vegetarian),
in our lovely outdoor setting overlooking  the water,
or the cosiness of our Art  Deco style Cafe.

It's a must for all travellers.
Come, relax and enjoy the Cinema in our comfortable
canvas deck chairs. Before
you settle in for the movie
you may wish to experience
our Cafe in its beautiful
location on the banks of
the Mulgum Creek.

At intermission you may be tempted
by our Cafe delights, delicious home
made desserts, cakes and coffee which
can be enjoyed in the cafe or taken back into the Theatre to munch while taking
in the rest of the film.
